Trend! 2007-11-25 20:11:43 Winter has only just arrived and I’m already wishing on Summer, this maybe down to the freezing cold weather or it could be due to all the stunning new collections and trends I have been viewing on Style.com, knowing me its probably the latter! One trend I found particularly interesting was the ‘Cloud’ trend that Zac Posen fully embraced with a selection of five dresses from his Spring 08 RTW collection. Long and short silky evening gowns with huge poufy sections in wispy whites and blues floated down the runway, areas of these gowns are absolutely stunning; I particularly love the dyeing techniques that create stunningly beautiful mottled effects of subtle hues. I also love the contrast of tight fitting areas with the huge voluminous sections; very striking! However looking on the practical side for the average woman walking down the street looking like a big poufy cloud isn’t going to be particularly flattering, so maybe this is one trend that is best kept on the runway! ...
