Rap mogul Jay-Z admits he stopped going to the movies in his early 20s because he was afraid of spending two hours sitting in the dark.
Back then Jay-Z was a hustler, who made his money through drug deals, and he felt vulnerable sitting in the movie theater.
Jay says, “(It was) hustler’s paranoia. You don’t want to sit in one place for too long.
“I stopped going to barbershops as well. It’s just smart. You could be in a theatre for three hours. Anything could happen.”
Seriously, I doubt anyone would have shot Jay over some nickels and dimes. SMH.

Sean Taylor Murder Suspects Held Without Bail

Three of the four men charged with the murder of NFL star Sean Taylor were denied bond.
Vanjah Hunte, 20, Eric Rivera, 17 and 18-year-old Charles Wardlow appeared in Lee County Circuit Court on Saturday for a preliminary hearing.
The fourth suspect, 19-year-old Jason Scott Mitchell, was not present in court on Saturday, but he will face the same charges as his accomplices.
The men were arrested in the Fort Myers area on Friday by the Miami-Dade County police. Wardlow’s lawyer, John E. Evans III, says, “They are charged with first degree felony murder, home invasion and burglary.”
According to Evans, three of the suspects have given police statements which “appear to describe a situation where they were going to take physical items from his (Taylor’s) home and had no idea Mr. Taylor was at home.”

The troubled star was recently spotted wandering the cold streets of London wearing only a bra and jeans.
Amy was photographed at 5:40 a.m. leaving a friend’s house in Bow, east London, scantily-clad, barefoot and looking strung out on Sunday morning.
A source tells The Sun newspaper, “Amy came out and started stumbling around. She popped her head over the fence like she was looking for something.
It was freezing and she had no shoes and just a red bra. She was mumbling something incomprehensible. It wasn’t the behavior of someone in the right state of mind.”
This comes less than a week after Amy canceled the remaining dates on her U.K. tour under doctor’s orders.

The Hannah Montana star revealed she has been dating Nick since the start of their current sold-out U.S. tour, and her father, Billy Ray, totally approves of the teen romance.
Miley says, “He trusts me, I’m responsible.” And the 15-year-old singer/actress insists the romance with Jonas - who is also aged 15 - is limited to rare movie dates.”

Scottish TV reporter Carla Romano was interviewing the comic genius when he grabbed her and pulled her into his lap, which forced the producers of the British breakfast show, GMTV, to axe the rest of their rude conversation.
Carla says, “The interview was so rude — it was unadulterated filth. I was trying to keep a straight face and play it straight. He was in character. “He got a little bit too frisky and managed to grab me and I ended up on the man’s lap. R&B Star Usher Calls Out The Black Media

The R&B star tells Essence Magazine, “Man, this has been a hard year, but it’s taught me courage. It’s taught me strength… It has taught me what it is to stand as a man, really.”
And the 29-year-old singer insists the hardships he and Tameka had to endure before they wed, as the black media and jealous fans turned against them, will only make any future marital issues a piece of cake to solve.

Hulk Hogan Bought Beer for Son before Crash

Hulk Hogan has been exposed! The wrestling superstar is partially at fault for his son Nick Hogan’s summer car crash and consequent legal woes.
The Hogan Knows Best actor, who is going through a divorce with wife Linda, is said to have purchased beer for Nick and his friends before the 17-year-old crashed into a palm tree that left passenger and friend, 22-year-old John Graziano, critically injured.
Included in the police report released this week is a receipt from Albertson’s Liquor Store in Clearwater, Florida at 2:14 p.m. on the day of the crash for $78 worth of beer and ice.
