Marion Jones, the record-breaking sprinter who tearfully confessed she used steroids after years of public denial, has been sentenced to serve six months in prison.
The shamed Olympic sprinter appeared in court in White Plains, New York on Friday morning to face sentencing for lying about her steroid use to federal investigators.
As well as jail time, Jones will also serve community service upon her release.
