Adolf Dassler was born 1900 in Herzogenaurach Germany, witch is by the way just 1 mile away from my house. He was the son of the shoemaker Christoph Dassler. He started to workas a baker. After the First World War he made his first pair of shoes out of linen. In the year1920 he took over his father’s shoe production company. In the year 1924 his brother Rudolf Dassler start working for that company too. After the Second World War the brothers split thecompany into two companies. Rudolf called his company “ PUMA” and Adolf called his company ADIDAS with stands for ADI = short form of Adolf and DAS are the first 3 letters of his last name. The rest is history. You don’t know the name? But you sure know the company. Ray Kroc was born in 1902 in Oak Park, Illinois. After a few jobs Ray became a Multi-mixer milkshake machine salesman travelling across the country. One of his selling trips led him to the two brothers, Mac (Maurice) and Dick (Richard) McDonald at their new hamburger restaurant and sold them 8 Multi-mixers. Convinced that this was the opportunity of his lifetime, he partnered with the brothers and began opening McDonald's restaurants. Ray Kroc bought the brothers out in 1961 for $2.7 million. No I am not talking about the time I put this post online. I am talking about the Just In Time (JIT)concept. What is Just In Time ? The idea of JIT was created by Taiichi Ono in the year 1950. Taiichi Ono was chief engineer at Toyota and his boss Toyoda Kiichiro wanted the Toyota company to become stronger in the US market. So Taiichi Ono came up with a simple idea. Inventory was defined to be waste. In short, the JIT inventory system is all about to have “the right material, at the right time, at the right place, and in the exact amount” without the safety net of Inventory. Yesterday on my way home from work I have listen to the radio. There was show about some great German entrepreneurs. It was so cool to hear how this businessman drove there companies to most success. It not just the money, it´s the jobs, the social security for their employees and last but not least taxes. I like to listen to such success tales and i have decided to blog about some of them in the next few post. I am not gonna limit myself to German entrepreneurs but i am gonna look out for the greatest entrepreneurs of the world. So look out for the first entrepreneur i am gonna blog about soon !!! ...

It´s nothing new that people blog for money in the us, but back here in Germany the hole thing is just getting started. In the news issue of the Internet Intern magazine there is a 11 page article about how to make money by blogging. The magazine names companies like Trigami, Google AdSense, Adical and BlogPay as possibilities to make some cash. By the way the show us the 3 most popular blogs in Germany, but the just forgot to talk about my blog. My blog is just to young and there magazine just to slow to see the next star on the blogging sky. ...

In Germany make money by blogging is close to unknown. Sure some people are blogging but just for fun. If you look on German blogs you will see big differences to the US blogs. I think the US blogs are much more professional. I love the idea of making money by blogging. I look up John Chows site a lot to see how much he made this month. In September he made 20,512.17 $.
