Developing A Great Character
2007-02-13 20:51:38
Being the Best In Every Area
What is character? Your character is the degree to which you live your
life consistent with high, life-enhancing values. A person who lacks character
is one who compromises on higher order values in favor of lower order
expedience, or who has no values at all. Your adherence to what you believe to
be right and true is the real measure of the person you have become to this
moment.
Define What "Excellence" Means to You
Let us say that one of your values is "excellence." Your
definition of excellence could be, "Excellence means that I set the
highest standards for myself in everything I do. I do my very best in every
situation and under all circumstances. I constantly strive to be better in my
work, and as a person in my relationships. I recognize that excellence is a
life-long journey and I work every day to become better and better in
everything I do."
Organize Your Actions
With a definition like this, you have a clear or ...

Jesus Is Watching You!
A burglar broke into a house one night. He shone
his flashlight around, looking for valuables, and when he picked up a CD player
to place in his sack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark,
saying, "Jesus is watching you."
He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off and froze. When he
heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head, promised himself a vacation
after the next big score, then clicked the light back on and began searching
for more valuables. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the
wires, clear as a bell he heard, "Jesus is watching you." Totally
rattled, he shone his light around frantically, looking for the source of the
voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on
a parrot.
"Did you say that?" he hissed at the parrot.
"Yes," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to
warn you."

Keeping A Journal

Keeping a Journal -- One of the Three Treasures to
Leave Behind by Jim Rohn (excerpted from "How to Keep a Journal" audio series by
Jim Rohn)
If you're serious about becoming a wealthy,
powerful, sophisticated, healthy, influential, cultured and unique individual,
keep a journal. Don't trust your memory. When you listen to something valuable,
write it down. When you come across something important, write it down.I
used to take notes on pieces of paper and torn-off corners and backs of old
envelopes. I wrote ideas on restaurant placemats. On long sheets, narrow sheets
and little sheets and pieces of paper thrown in a drawer. Then I found out that
the best way to organize those ideas is to keep a journal. I've been keeping
these journals since the age of twenty-five. The discipline makes up a valuable
part of my learning, and the journals are a valuable part of my
library.I am a buyer of blank books. Kids find it interesting that I
would buy a blank book. The ...

Veretekk Internet Marketing System
2007-02-07 01:12:04
The heart of any home based business is advertising or lead development. The center of my Internet lead development activity is a Veretekk Gold System. It is such a multi-faceted approach to internet marketing that I am going to post a series of articles on what it does and how I use it in by lead development efforts.
My system is a Gold System. Using this system I have developed over 15,200 leads in less than 3 months. Also, using this system, I am able to contact them en masse on a weekly basis. There is a FREE Silver system available. Obviously, it has less capability, but it is an excellent way to find out how to use this system and determine if it would work for your business. You can sign up for the free Veretekk Silver System by clicking on this link; http://jjei.veretekk.com/.
Through the rest of this week and into the following week I will post on the various functions of this incredible internet system. So stay tuned.......

Back In The Saddle
2007-02-05 16:13:35
Back to being reasonably healthy. This is good. Ready to get back to some serious, focused effort. Really looking forward to it. Today is devoted to getting caught up and back on track.
My first 2 weeks in GDI were not stellar by any means due to the flu. However I was able to get 8 people involved. So, it is a start! It is a fantasy to "make up for lost time." But I am able to go forward from this point. I am more than convinced that GDI is the vehicle to building a large group of business partners with whom I can build long term business relationships and multiple streams of income.<:))))><<

doing something about your situation that you don?t have time to worry. As you
take action, your confidence, courage and sense of control will return and wipe

A Horse Funny
Charlie was a regular visitor at the racetrack.
One afternoon he noticed an unusual sight. Right before the first race, a
Catholic priest visited one of the horses in the stable area and gave it a
blessing. Charlie watched the horse race very carefully, and sure enough the
blessed horse came in first!
Charlie followed the priest before the next race, and again he went to the
stables and performed a similar procedure. Charlie played a hunch and put a
couple of dollars on the
blessed horse. Sure enough, the blessed horse came in by two lengths, and
Charlie won close to fifty bucks!
The priest continued the same procedure through the next few races, and Charlie
won each time. He was now ahead $1,000, so between races Charlie left the track
and went to the bank and withdrew his life's savings, $20,000.
The biggest race of the day was the last one. Charlie followed the priest and watched
carefully which horse he blessed. He then went to the betting window and put
his wh ...

The following
story has been around on the email for a while, but it stands repeating. It is
reported to be an actual radio conversation of a U.S. naval ship with Canadian
authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October 1995.
Americans:
Please divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision.
Canadians:
Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.
Americans:
This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.
Canadians: No,
I say again, you divert YOUR course.
Americans:
This is THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS LINCOLN. The second largest ship in the United
States Atlantic fleet. we are accompanied by three destroyers, three cruisers
and numerous support vessels.
I demand that
YOU change YOUR course 15 degrees north, that's one five degrees north, or
counter measures will be taken to ensure the safety of this ship.
Canadians:
This is a lighthouse. Your call.
