A former NFL player could lose his job as a hallmonitor at a Dallas school for having two nude pictures stored on acell phone that was found by a student.Tyrone Hughes, who played for the Cowboys, theNew Orleans Saints and the Chicago Bears during six years in the NFL,took the hall monitor job at South Oak Cliff High School so he couldcoach football and track, The Dallas Morning News reported.Hughes says he lost his cell phone at the school.A student, Clarence Winkfield, said he found it in a hallway and tookit to a pawnshop after making four phone calls and looking at the nudepictures.Winkfield's family claims Hughes threatened themafter he traced his phone through the calls. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) today publishedits intent to withdraw a supplement notice of proposed rulemaking(SNPRM) that purported to instruct carriers about the use of“supporting documents” to verify record of duty status(RODS).FMCSA is charged with establishing and regulating the number of hoursthat a trucker can be on duty, how much time must be spent resting, andthe total number of weekly hours a trucker may drive.
