Negative Equity; Trading a Car When You Are Upside Down!
1969-12-31 17:59:59
Upside Down is Dealership slang for Negative Equity. Who has it? Just about everyone, even dealership employees, so dont feel bad. It is just a fact of life, cars depreciate. When you drive a car over the curb it loses value. If you buy from an individual, it still loses value. The only way to keep from being upside down is to:1. Put Money Down2. Pick a shorter term to finance; 48 months instead of 603. Do not Trade Too often4. Make Sure You Get a Good Deal, Get Your FREE Quote! These are just a few ways to avoid negative equity. Another one is to lease your vehicle. Some say, buy what appreciates and lease what depreciates. You lease for 3 to 4 years and get the best life out of the vehicle, turn it in, and lease another. Why worry about ever owning it. If you do own the car, it is worthless by the time you are through paying for it.If you have any more ideas for buyers, leave them under the comments section for others to learn.

How To Properly Repair Scratches To Your Car
1969-12-31 17:59:59
We all have received them on our cars; rock chips, door dings, bumper scrapes, etc They can come from a rock thrown up from a truck on the highway, or its as easy as a parking lot ding from someone in a hurry or even an errant grocery cart. Most of these are unavoidable. They can happen even if you park far away from stores and regardless of the measures you take to protect your car. Not only do they detract from your cars beauty, but they can also make your car susceptible to rust and the environment. Here is how to fix these paint chips, nicks and deep scratches and protect your car from rust. Its not worth going to a auto paint and body store for chips and scratches. They will charge 10 times more for repairs you can easily do yourself. The first step is to locate the chips and scratches and see how deep they are. If they do not go all the way through the paint you can buff them out. Using a cloth terry towel apply a small amount of scratch remover or cleaner wax. Rub in a circular m ...

Bad Credit Car Tips
1969-12-31 17:59:59
If you know you do not have the best of credit, there are a few things to remember. Do not go with the intention of buying the most expensive car. Realize that you have to start somewhere, get an affordable car and work your way up, after re-establishing your credit. When you are serious about buying a car, take a few things that will ensure there are no mistakes in your approval process. Take a check stub so that the correct income will be used. I have been told on many occasions that someone makes $40,000 a year, gets approved, and the check stub verifies $22000 a year. Save yourself some time, bring a check stub with you. Also, bring a phone bill, electric bill, for proof of residence. Have at least 7 references with names, phone #s, and addresses. Have proof of insurance, drivers license, and discharge letters for those who may have filed bankruptcy, title to trade, etc. If you have your proper documentation up front, there is a very good chance you will get approved and be riding ...

GMs Smartbuy Lease Benefit For Financing With GMAC
1969-12-31 17:59:59
A smartbuy with GMAC is similar to a lease, but at the end of a smartbuy, you have options. You have the option to drop the car off and walk away, sell the car, keep the car and finance the balance. The benefit of a Smartbuy compared to a standard lease program is that you are guaranteed financing by GMAC if you decide to keep the vehicle. When considering a lease, if you are late on a few payments, you may have difficulty financing the car for the remainder of the term.A Smartbuy will allow the purchaser to obtain a lower payment while still having their name on the title. Whereas, in a standard lease, the finance companys name would be on the title; in this instance, GMAC. You will also have to carry lower deductibles with a standard lease, where the smartbuy you can carry standard Insurance deductibles.I tell customers that if they drive low mileage, like 12000-15000 miles per year, the smartbuy is the ticket. Many say they want to buy the vehicle because they hate to pay for a car t ...

1969-12-31 17:59:59
GM Owned XM Radio and Chrysler Sirius Radio announcing they want to merge. This goes almost hand in hand with the stirring news of GM wanting to buy Chrysler. GM struggling to stay #1 and Chrysler slipping to #4 in the US. I believe the Satelite radio merger is just a precurser to what GM and Chrysler are trying to achieve. The question, will the government allow the Satelite mergers that will be a monopoly position. Stay tuned for more news out of this topic.

GMC Acadia; What Consumers Are Saying
1969-12-31 17:59:59
I am a car salesman for a GM Dealership and was happy to see the GMC Acadia finally arrive. Consumers are flocking in to see the design that replaced the 3 row GMC Envoy XL.I have not talked to anyone that does not love the new design. The only complaint I have heard is about the engine. The 3.6 Liter V6 may be a little under-powered for the size of the vehicle, but the 26 MPG Hwy mileage helps persuade a would-be buyer that there is plenty of power. There are plenty of options on the vehicle to satisfy any taste. You can get 2 sunroofs, navigation, DVD, option of cloth or leather, heated seats, memory seats, just to name a few. The pricing is not bad either. The cloth base model starts out around $30,000 all the way up to fully loaded topping $42,000 and a large range of options in between. If you have not driven or seen the GMC Acadia, take time to go by your local GMC dealer to take a look. You will be very surprised at the inside space with the 3 rows of seats. One of the most popul ...

Lease Versus Buy Car
1969-12-31 17:59:59
Everyone always Asks, Should I BUY A CAR or LEASE A CAR? This is a very important question when going to the Car Dealership. You need to look at your past car experiences to determine your future car needs. Some questions to ask yourself about your car.1. How many miles do I drive my car?2. What kind of condition do I keep my car in?3. What do I use my car for?4. How long do I keep a Car?This is 4 very important questions when deciding to Lease or Buy a Car. If you drive over 15 or 20 thousand miles a year, I would suggest you BUY YOUR CAR. If you are rough on your car, like scratches, dents, wear inside and out, I would suggest you BUY YOUR CAR. If you use your car for travel and it is your main car, you may want to BUY YOUR CAR. If you keep your car a very short amount of time or a very long time, you may want to BUY YOUR CAR!But, on the other side, if you drive 15000 miles a year or less, trade every 3 to 4 years, and keep your car in good condtion, you may want to LEASE YO ...

Paintless Dent Repair: Myths And Facts About Car Dent Repair And Insurance
1969-12-31 17:59:59
Paintless Dent Repair: Myths and Facts About Car Dent Repair and InsuranceBy Theodore OlsonThe long arm of car repair insurance doesn?t stop at extended warranties or tire road hazard insurance. Marketing gurus have found all sorts of knick knacks to insure. Among the top are ding and dent protection plans. Ding and dent insurance is growing steadily, and addresses those unsightly shopping cart and parking lot dings.Dings and dents are fairly synonymous terms, although a ding is smaller than a dent. You?ll notice a dent. You?ll need to squint, or catch the vehicle in the right angle or sunlight to see a ding. Some dings are smaller than eraser heads.Like extended warranties or tire insurance, dent and ding protection plans promise to pay for damages in part or in full for a specific period of time. These plans are primarily sold by new car dealerships and cost a few hundred dollars.Ding and Dent Repair: Paintless Dent RepairDing and dent repair is called PDR, short for Paintless Dent R ...
