AE86 day nikko circuit, has come and is now gone, till next year! 2007-08-13 12:51:14 AE86 enthusiasts from around Japan met up at Nikko circuit to celebrate 86 day, appropriately on 8/6/2007. Some of the best of the best showed up, from low mileage stock AE86’s, to n2 race cars, rally cars, and drift cars. The AE86 has a huge following throughout the world, and some amazing cars definitely showed up this time. Unfortunately, no love for us AE86 enthusiasts in the states, someone should start up something similar in a SoCal track, I’m sure TONS of people would be interested! A formal appology from thedriftscene 2007-07-21 13:26:28 A week ago, I was stressing about my car situation, and not having any cash to fix it. My first idea was to sell this site, so I put it up for auction on SitePoint, had some interest, lots of flakes, whatever. I just wanted to apologize to any dedicated readers or if your just coming to the site for the first time, things are just going to go back to normal, and I am going to try and raise the bar in quality drifting/JDM content so I can make this site even better, and make it something other than just a hobby. I realized, I like writing stuff for this site…  For example, I am a happy guy because I am writing this right now, why would I try and get rid of that? I am so dumb. On a side note. Another thing about drifting on the streets, it gives anybody who is into drifting/motorsports a bad rep, don’t be surprised if someone kicks your ass for trying to show off.
