DownloadToday we woke up to find a lake in our room. There is water dripping from the air conditioner. We slept in and then went out to find some food. First we had some delicious fruit. Then we went to the same place that we ate at last night. They had an amazing buffet. Then we found a cool little cafe and had ice coffee. We walked around a bit and saw lots of bikes. All the taxis in Taipei seem to be yellow. In the afternoon I did some editing. This is the TDES Taipei studio. In the evening we went to a night market. Mmmm fruit. Pineapple.Cat.We saw a lot of bars that looked like they were for Japanese men. But we didn't come across any non-dodgy looking places, so we went home.Source: http://giangdaytructuyen.blogspot.com ...

Paco come home!In a small town in Spain, a man named Jorge had a bitter argument with his young son Paco. The next day, Jorge discovered that Paco's bed was empty - he had run away from home.Overcome with remorse, Jorge searched his soul and realized that his son was more important to him than anything else. He wanted to start over. Jorge went to a well-known store in the center of town and posted a large sign that read, "Paco, come home. I love you. Meet me here tomorrow morning."The next morning Jorge went to the store, where he found no less than seven young boys named Paco who had also run away from home. They were all answering the call for love, hoping it was their father inviting them home with open arms.- Alan CohenPaco, hăy tr? v? nhà!T?i m?t th? tr?n nh? ? If I had my child to raise over againIf I had my child to raise all over again,I'd finger-paint more, and point the finger less.I would do less correcting and more connecting.I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.I would care to know less and know to care more.I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.I'd do more hugging and less tugging.I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.I'd teach less about the love of power,And more about the power of love.- Diane LoomansThere are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. Download- Author: Arthur Crudup- Artiste: Elvis Presley, 1972.- When Elvis first covered this in the 1950s it was a pioneering manoeuvre. By the 1970s he had cranked it up to fifth gear, added blazing horns and gospel vocals and it kicked like an irritated mule.Well, that's all right, mamaThat's all right for youThat's all right mama, just anyway you doWell, that's all right, that's all right. That's all right now mama, anyway you doMama she done told me,Papa done told me too'Son, that gal your foolin' with,She ain't no good for you'But, that's all right, that's all right. That's all right now mama, anyway you doI'm leaving town, babyI'm leaving town for sureWell, then you won't be bothered withMe hanging 'round your doorWell, that's all right, that's all right. That's all right now mama, anyway you doSource: http://giangdaytructuyen.blogspot.com ...

1969-12-31 17:59:59
Download- Artiste: The Beatles, 1966.- Paul McCartney's grim, evocative, two-minute narrative about Eleanor Rigby, a curious, lonely woman who dies sad and alone. The song is brought to life, as it were, by the stark staccato string arrangement.Ah, look at all the lonely peopleAh, look at all the lonely peopleEleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has beenLives in a dreamWaits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the doorWho is it for?All the lonely peopleWhere do they all come from ?All the lonely peopleWhere do they all belong ?Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hearNo one comes near.Look at him working. No charge - Nh?ng ?i?u vô giá
1969-12-31 17:59:59
No chargeThe little boy suddenly came up to his mother and handed her a piece of paper when she was busy in preparing dinner. After his mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it:For cutting the grass. $5.00For cleaning up my room this week. $1.00For going to the store for you. .50Baby-sitting my kid brother. .25Taking out the garbage. $1.00For getting a good report card. $5.00For cleaning up, and raking the yard. $2.00Total owed: $14.75After reading, his mother looked at him standing there, expectantly. Almie Rose
1969-12-31 17:59:59
Almie RoseIt was at least two months before Christmas when nine-year-old Almie Rose told her father and me that she wanted a new bicycle. As Christmas drew nearer, her desire for a bicycle seemed to fade, or so we thought. We purchased the latest rage, Baby-Sitter's Club dolls, and a doll house. Then, much to our surprise, on December 23rd, she said that she "really wanted a bike more than anything else."It was just too late, what with all the details of preparing Christmas dinner and buying last-minute gifts, to take the time to select the "right bike" for our little girl. So, here we were - Christmas Eve around 9:00 p.m., with Almie Rose and her six-year-old brother, Dylan, nestled snug in their beds. We could now think only of the bicycle, the guilt, and being parents who would disappoint their child."What if I make a little bicycle out of clay and write a note that she could trade the clay model in for a real bike?" my husband asked. The theory being that since this is a high-ticke ...

The rules for being human1. You will receive a bodyYou may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period.2. You will be presented with lessonsYou are enrolled in a full-time informal school called Life. Each day in this school you will learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.3. There are no mistakes, only lessonsGrowth is a process of trial and error: experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works."4. A lesson is repeated until learnedA lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. Once learned, you then go on to the next lesson.5. Learning lessons does not endThere is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.6. "There" is no better than "here"When your "there" has become a "here," you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."7. Others are mer ...

Today's Joke (May 19, 2007)
1969-12-31 17:59:59
Aherd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo, much like the brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. The slowest buffalo are the sick and weak so they die off first, making it possible for the herd to move at a faster pace. Like the buffalo, the weak, slow brain cells are the ones that are killed off by excessive beer drinking and socializing, making the brain operate faster. The moral of the story: Drink more beer, it will make you smarter.Source: http://giangdaytructuyen.blogspot.com ...
