Pictures of Houses
2007-08-13 19:25:17
I love to see different types of houses. Whether it is photographs, paintings, models, puzzles, collectibles, or any other things, as long as they are beautiful houses and cottages I would love it. For example, there are many photographs of houses at Wilmington NC real estate. There are both the external view of the houses and the internal view of the house. I am always filled with enthusiasm and inspiration when I view pictures of houses. The most inspirational pictures of houses will be that of Thomas Kinkade, the painter of light. The house is the place of shelter the place where families can seek love and care. It is the place where true love can exist. There is simply no place like home. The paintings of home can really bring peace of mind. ...

Father’s Scar
2007-08-12 22:53:57
This is my father. He is a man with great business mind. He used to run his own company and he has only primary school education. He did not have any financial consolidation software or computer knowledge at all to help him with accounting and administrative work. He did everything himself and also engaging the help from other people. He managed his work and family well. He is a responsible man. He never fails to care for his employees and his responsibilities towards his clients. Now, my father is retired. Every day, he would go to his gardens to care for his plants and vegetables. He loves gardening. Not only does he grew medicinal plants, he also grow bananas. Our family and my brother and sister’s families always have a constant supplies of bananas. At times, when his peanuts are matured enough to produce groundnuts, he bring them home for my mother to cook. He also grow sweet potatoes and tapioca. We often get to eat sweet potatoes leaves and tapioca too. Th ...
Speeding
2007-08-12 19:25:28
What can deter drivers on the road to speed? Some traffic police like to frequent certain roads. Drivers who are always on the road will soon know which roads are ’safe’ and which roads are ‘unsafe’. Most traffic police like to park their vehicle at some obscure places where they use radar detector to detect any speeding from any cars on the road. For drivers who are driving for the first time on such road, this will definitely a big surprise to them when they will be caught for speeding. But can this really deter drivers from speeding? I don’t think so. This may deter drivers from speeding only at that specific road, but after that, they will speed again when there is no speed camera and no traffic police. I am writing in accordance with experience and from people around me. All of them around me are like that! When drivers know that there are speeding camera or there might be traffic police around, they slowed down. After the unsafe zone, they would sp ...
My Getaways
2007-08-12 18:57:25
Second Life is my virtual getaway place. It is a place where I can explore and see more of the world. I get to meet people, visit castles, cottages, mountains, parks, gardens and forests. If money is not a problem, I would want to bring my whole family to Branson Getaways. It would be a great experience to go for a great holidays at Branson. There are beautiful and luxurious accomodation such as The Welk Resort Hotel Branson and various attractions there. My children would love the various fun rides and thrills. They love water and the water rides will be most suitable for them. At Branson, there are Family Entertainment Centers and Movie Theaters. Though there are shopping there, I would love to visit the museums most. I think the children would love to visit the World’s Largest Antique Toy Museum too. Well, these are all wishful thinking. For a family of four, going for tour costs a huge bomb! Second Life is still my only getaway for now. ...
Writing That Heals
2007-08-12 02:17:01
When we are feeling sad, angry, fearful or grief-striken, there is nothing better than being able to talk to another person in order to release our deeply held feelings. However, sometimes it is hard to talk about our problems. It is hard to bottle up so much feelings, frustration and anger. Sometimes there is also no opportunities to ‘talk’ to anyone about our problems. Anything which goes in must come out. The best way to ‘talk’ about your problems is to your diary or journal, or simply through writing it out. Writing can help us to resolve feelings or thoughts which have become stuck in our consciousness — especially if we find it difficult to talk about them, or even have no opportunities to talk about them. Writing is also a way to help us to take pleasure in life, on a daily basis. After writing, we often feel much better just for having ‘talked’ about it. Keeping a journal allows you to jot down all your thoughts, ideas, sadnes ...
Mailboxes For Your House
2007-08-11 09:52:53
Our mailboxes are very important to us. Everyday, the postman put our letters into our letterbox or mailbox. Everyday, we open our mailbox. For people who are staying in apartments, flats and condominium, all their mailboxes are at the void deck of their houses. It is not outside their house, beside the entrance to their door. They need to take a lift, go downstairs to the void deck in order to open their mailboxes. This is very inconvenient. My mailbox belongs to this category, the sharing type (like the picture above, which is taken from Mailboxixchange.com). I am staying in flats and everyday, either my husband or I will need to go downstairs to open our mailbox. I really envy people who have their own landed properties, their own houses where they can have their own gardens and their own Signature Keystone Mailbox or even other mailbox designs like Original Keystone Mailbox. These mailboxes are so lovely and classy. They can be mounted anywhere on the walls beside the ...
Blinds To Protect
2007-08-10 22:53:59
These two windows need blinds to filter off the strong sunlight from entering the house. Anyone who is going to sit directly under the strong sunlight will feel very hot, unless the person wants a sun tan. The sun is helpful in room where there are green plants placed near the windows. Other than that, any sunlight that enters the house is harmful to our furnture. Prolonged exposure of our furniture to strong sunlight will cause the furniture to fade in their colour. Anyone who would wish to sit on the sofa or couch to read their favourite book will feel uncomfortable under the hot sun. Where the house is situated on the ground floor, more privacy is even needed. Blinds placed at the windows served the purpose of adding more privacy to the house owners. Blinds provide security to house members when they know that no one can see what they are doing in their own house. They can walk around the house with peace. Blinds protect your home — Blinds protect your furniture and ...
Why Choose A Bird?
2007-08-10 02:17:03
My first pet is a bird, a chicken. I had kept both birds and chicken in my childhood days. I fed them, looked after them and changed the newspaper myself. The birds are intelligent animals. They know how to respond to our command too. Before you decide to bring a conure into your life, you will need to consider a few questions. Do you like animals? Do you have the time to care for one properly? Can you live with a little mess (seed hulls, feathers and discarded food) in your home? Can you tolerate, and appreciate, a little noise as part of your daily routine? If your answer is yes to all these questions, then you can keep a bird. Why do you want to keep a bird? Bird has a small size. This makes them good pets for today’s smaller living spaces. Many people are living in apartments, flats, and condominiums, which makes it inconvenient to keep a large pet who needs a yard and lots of regular exercise. Birds just seem to fit better in apartments, flats and condominiums or other sma ...
Buy Insurance?
2007-08-08 20:32:49
The insurance I have is life insurance and home insurance only. I do not have any car insurance because I do not have any car. Talking about life insurance, I am not adequately covered. I would love to take up more insurance so that my children and hopefully my husband can get better life when I have any premature death. I do not have any woman illness plans now. I just cancelled one such policy one year ago, as my budget was very tight. Every now and then, I would receive telephone calls from insurance advisers. They are some very good ones and some very inexperienced ones. Some of them when talking to me, I can tell that they are reading from scripts. This is the type where if I tell them I do not need them, they will not bother to answer any objections at all. Two days ago, another insurance advisers from a small company called me. He wanted me to take up personal accident insurance. He told me all the benefits of personal accident insurance. I know very well all about insu ...
Cebest’s Death Video
2007-08-08 10:43:10
My Dog, Cebest, Rest In Peace I have finally enough courage to put up my beloved pet, my dog, Cebest’s last pieces of photographs. His death photographs and it was the most photographs I had ever taken of him on that date. I had regretted not taking more photographs of him when he was young. My Canon camera was not working well then. The average life span of a dog is about 10-15 years old. I would thought that he would follow us and with the children till their teens and even older. However, everything was the least expected and the most unexpected happened. It was just a routine yearly vaccination. He was so happy. He spin around, dashing here and there, was filled with excitement and joy. He saw me taking out his belongings for outings — the shoes, his shirt and the leash. He came towards me, allowed me to put on everything on him. After vaccination, we came home. Everything seem to be normal since it was just a moment ago after vaccination, a few hours ago. As per ...
Peer Pressure
2007-08-08 08:13:32
A peer is someone almost the same age as you who shares similar values and interests. Peers often spend time together in common activities. When a teenager feels that he must do the same things as his peers in order to be accepted, he is under peer pressure. There are two types of peer pressure — the positive peer pressure and the negative peer pressure. The positive peer pressure causes the teenager to engage in meaningful and healthy activities with friends. Examples of positive peer pressure are doing homework and projects together, playing games and going for barbecues and picnics. Negative peer pressure, on the other hand, causes the teenager to engage in activities that are harmful to himself and also probably to other people. Negative peer pressure is what parents would be worried about for their teens. Some examples of negative peer pressure are pressure to smoke, drink, take drugs, buy branded goods and even engage in pre-marital sex. In my opinion, the best way to hel ...
Importance of Skin Care Products
2007-08-08 06:53:12
Yesterday I called my mother. Again she was very busy at work. I called her probably three to five times a week, not that there is so much things to say, but to make sure that she is okay. So yesterday I was telling her about my face. I think I am getting old and my skin is not that radiant as before. Every day I bring the children to and fro the home and the school. The sun rays were very strong. Everyday I can feel the heat and the burning pain on my skin if I am under the sun too long. I used to have sunscreen. I am using Shiseido skin care products and these are very expensive. I have tried cheap ones but I do not like them. To cut down on expenditure, I had stopped using sunscreen for a few years, perhaps two to three years, ever since I stopped working.  Now I had began to see the importance of using sunscreen.  For not using any more sunscreen, I had freckles on my face.  Though they are not obvious, one of them is growing and I think I need my father to buy some medication ...

Computer Network
2007-08-07 06:12:02
The most important aspect of having a computer network is being able to share many computer resources, such as disk space, laser printer, data files and application programs, and perhaps the CD ROM and Scanner as well. With internet connectivity, the computer network also makes communication easier and faster for network users using Electronic mail (Email), Teleconferencing and Video Conferencing. These are the extensions of sharing resources remotely.A computer network is a group of computers that are connected together to share resources. A standalone home PC is not connected in a network. It cannot share computer resources directly. It is not secured because data on the local hard disk storage is easily accessible by others, unless you lock them securely in a secluded room. A LAN(Local Area Network) is a group of computers in close proximity that are connected together to share resources. Generally, it consists of at least one Server and many clients PCs. Its network users can com ...
